About the Author .... Brian Dorner
A native of the Midwest, Brian Dorner, MD obtained the idea for his first novel while doing research in molecular biology, and in the summer before attending the University of Michigan Medical School he wrote A Cure by Death. He revised the book while obtaining his medical degree, sometimes editing between patients during early morning rounds. Dr. Dorner is currently working on his next book while completing a plastic surgery residency program at a major academic university.
