Barbara
J. Harris is one of the founders of the Harris Literary Agency. Barbara
has been an editor for a number of years and has credentials in Speech/Language
Pathology. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University
of Wisconsin, Madison, and her Master's degree from San Diego State
University. As an editor, she saw many excellent manuscripts that
did not make publication and felt that she could better serve authors
in the capacity of an agent who could advocate their works to publishers.
The agency is committed to manage
a limited clientele of fine writers. By doing so, it is able to work
directly with talented authors and represent their material to publishers.
